One of our patients has found fame in promoting Wigan Council’s “Lose Weight Feel Great!” scheme. She has managed to lose 5 stone with their help and now features on their advertisment leaflets promoting the service. The leaflet has a picture of Freda before and after her weight loss.

Freda is quoted on the leaflet saying: “So many times people feel that they get to a certain age and can no longer lose weight or exercise but I am very proud to say that at the age of 79 I have been part of a remarkable journey on LWFG.”
